AC BBQ Ribbon Cutting with Celebrity Host Anthony Anderson

Marketing Intern

I played a key role in the execution of the AC BBQ Ribbon Cutting event, featuring celebrity chef and actor Anthony Anderson. Working closely with his manager on the day of the event, I was responsible for the seamless setup and organization of event segments and locations. This included aiding in the arrangement of the ribbon cutting ceremony and the coordination of photo ops and a Q&A session.

Given the close timing of each event segment, I focused heavily on time management and logistical coordination, ensuring transitions were smooth and that all aspects of the event were executed to the best of my abilities.

This experience sharpened my event planning and execution skills, as I managed multiple activities under tight timelines. It also enhanced my time management abilities and professionalism, allowing me to stay organized and deliver seamless results. Working with high-profile individuals further developed my adaptability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

University of Cincinnati First Year Orientation

Marketing Intern

As a marketing intern, I played a key role in supporting the 513 Culinary Group during their first year of freshman orientation. This was the group’s first experience running the event, and I was instrumental in executing the tabling setup, which featured a prize wheel and a variety of branded swag. My responsibilities included daily setup and tear down, as well as engaging directly with both students and parents. I introduced the brand, explained the new marketing materials, and provided information on how 513 Culinary Group was becoming an exciting addition to the campus.

With an estimated 1,500-2,000 people attending each day, I also managed crowd control, organizing lines for the prize wheel, ensuring a smooth flow of visitors. My efforts contributed to creating a memorable experience for new students and their families while introducing the brand in a dynamic and engaging way.
